It is a terrific place to relax and view the gulf. But we never forgot this magic place and missed it terribly when we occasionally returned to Sanibel. A wonderful week! Unit was very clean and had pretty much everything we would need. Our dog loved everything about the trip, and slept for 2 straight days in the car on the way home. It was clean, the bed comfortable and overall very nicely furnished. If you have small children, five or six people is reasonable. Over half of the island is preserved land where you can take walks to enjoy the beauty of the island and watch the wildlife in their natural habitat.
