valentino uomo intense macy's

Very unique and, for me, the better value buy compared to the Dior. Uomo Intense has NOT been discontinued and I don't know why half of FragComm keeps insisting that it has been. The projection is very good. MI got a sample yesterday. I also have Zara 9.0 to compare. This is a non-foody gourmand iris through and through and a longevity all-star. If you like iris note, you will like this. I visited Douglas yesterday and they had the new batches. 8/10, I love this scent, a great balance of leather and sweetness. This and the EDT have nothing to do with the trio Dior Homme, Dior Homme Intense, Dior Homme Parfum. They 2 are nothing alike. I read about the comparisons and decided to buy this for my husband when I found it for a good price and WOW this is beautiful! Although I can not distinguish leather, I can see how and why it is used. 62S80YX. I saw this at a local department store in the old packaging (Batch code 80891) and I actually hesitated on getting this. I picked the wrong one. Dior Homme Parfum is much bolder and more statment maker with a better performance but this is more appealing to average people. this is one of those perfumes that makes my day better, every time i get a wiff of this scent i can't help but smile. I also get slightly better performance out of DHI. I lost 50% of enjoyable smell in 2 hours. I swear this site is filled with so many resellers (and paid employees while we are at it) that it stinks, literally.. we all know different batches may differ in different ph skins. Really nice. :). Very nicely done! I came to valentino because I haven't found a niche violet-iris combo yet and this is a winner. The orange and Tonka in there makes it a little bit more fun, bright, and less stiff. My wife said she may as well keep the VUI as well. A bit more mass appealing with more freshness and sweetness than DHI. This was a blind buy based on all the reviews likening VUI to my beloved DHI. The new edition of the fragrance Valentino Uomo from 2014, Valentino Uomo Intense, comes out in the spring of 2016, announced as the more intense, charismatic and masculine version. Oh yeah, it smells wonderfulthis is my first impression: initially the iris is very similar to that of DHI. Recently (2021) I bought a 100 ML from Nordstrom just to have it in my collection before it is wiped out of the market. Since this dissapeared for quite some time on european discounters and now seems to be back again, can somebody comment if a reformulation took place ? I have heard this has been discontinued. now spray 2 spritzes of this magical scent and grab the keys for your Audi RS5 on your way out. ignore those telling you how and when to wear this gem. The sample that I got has a beautiful note (I guess it is mandarin) that made me like it more than DHI, but the new bottle that I bought smells almost the same as DHI. I'm gonna be honest and admit I don't like it for me. Discontinued fragrances arent still listed on the maker's website. valentino intense is my next one !! The way to tell if there's been a reformulation for the new L'Oreal version of VUI is to check the FIL code on the box. VUI smells like Spicebomb/Extreme to me, with a mild infusion of iris/powdery notes, with more defined tobacco notes, and reduced array of spice notes, with a mild dose of resinous/dark notes. This is straight up female 25+ and it's sexy af. I had a decant of the regular version, and absolutely adored it. This one is 90% smell like Dior Homme Intense, just more well blended, To me I prefer this one more than Dior Homme Intense, very sexy Iris scent. Creamy smooth class in a bottle. I went with this because I love iris, but with all the tonka and vanilla this is too sweet and the edt was really nice. The 2022 Dior Homme Original, Is still the king of all the Iris dominant fragrances available on the market this days. The initial opening is not rude or loud but very milky-acceptable and the dry down is even more lazy, slow yet amazing. It's available on the Valentino website and elsewhere as of today. ! as this one keeps projecting throughout the day. While DHI is mostly linear, Valentino changes, and to me, that drydown is very sexy, women loves it! It is sweet, but not too sweet. Dior Homme intense is nowhere near as versatile as this is. Nothing extrem about this, Its pure bliss in a bottle, my wife dose not share my love off iris and says it smells to much, so keep that in mind, the iris is The domenatrix in this parfym. It does have that makeup bag lipstick smell but its blended so well; if you like iris youll be a sucker for this one. To me it smells just like vanilla and tonka bean with faint iris in the background. I love them both, but VUI just beats out DHI as one of my top 5 frags. And as many have stated they are quite similar. The heat brought out this cloying lipstick feel. This wouldn't be something that I would typically purchase but I am trying to branch out and make my collection a little more varied. If you can, rock this, you will not be disappointed! They are so close that you don't need them both although Valentino is slightly sweeter and performs a little better than Gentleman EDP. love it. Dior Homme original is not the Iris king. Reduces to a heavier version in 2 hours and loses silage at same ratio. @pbreslin (on how to differentiate Puig vs L'Oral): correct! So The FIL is new. While I do not find Valentino Uomo EDT similar to Dior Homme, I do see huge similarity between Valentino Uomo Intense and Dior Homme Intense. Beautiful fragrance that is borderline feminine to me. The strange thing is that women really like it but I cant wear something that I dont like :/ . It has vanilla which makes it sweeter. Still available on Valentino's own website and Nordstrom and Bloomingdales' websites. I like it but i don't love it! ALL compares to DHI are not correct in my opinion! People around me seem to like it. Sillage is impressive, I don't even know how large the scent bubble is but I get nonstop whiffs of myself for hours using just 2 sprays. Love this DNA. I just love it! Any frag collector MUST have this in their collection. The iris note its more quiet but noticible. It's long lasting, projects well. Very similar to Dior Homme Intense or i would say more designer version of DHI or DHP. Valentino uomo intense is more easy to wear though and can give a similar feel at half the price. This smells good and also has the performance! The opening is very masculine, It has a very sharp Iris not like DH it shares the same sharpness of the Iris you'll get from Roi D'Orient from Rituals. It gives a slight masculine edge to the fragrance. It was a women delivery person and she geeked out over how good I smelled. The dry down reminds me of a mix of CH Prive for Men and Jo Malone Myrrh and Tonka. I own Uomo Intense and I have been testing out a sample of Gentleman and in my humble opinion, Gentleman is way sweeter! I find it to be pretty inoffensive and pleasing. Can anyone attest to that? I actually prefer this one on myself (Donnas rose is verrry sweet). It definitely has a romantic vibe to it, I could dress this up or "smart casual" and pull it off, but I also think I could dress in all black like John Wick and kill a squad of assassins whilst wearing this fragrance too.so there you have it. The opening to dry down transition is relatively linear, the fragrance opens with a strong projection, bold and intense, but as it transitions, it softens to a moderate projection. @User123 it has now changed some notes, its not anymore tonka bean and leather i think, but smell is very similiar to old one. it is perfect for a cool, luxurious and formal atmosphere. I got extremely lucky and saw this pop up on Fragrancenet for only $64. Closer to Givenchy Gentleman EDP than to Dior Homme Intense despite what "this perfume reminds me of" says above. Finally i got my bottle, as of june 2020. A masculine yet sweet, and potent yet smooth, unique yet mass appealing. Here's the way I would rate the Iris based fragrances I have. When I wear it, I feel on top of the world. Found a perfect/unused tester bottle of this at a local shop.for$40 !! I also purchased a bottle of DHI from Fragrancenet too, but when it arrived I was so upset to see that they sent me a 2020 formulation of DHI while they still have the 2011 packaging pictured. As soon as I sprayed it on the back of my hand and smelled, I went over to my cologne cabinet and whipped out the ol 75ml Dior Homme Parfum to spray on my other hand. Instead, I love the warmth of the tonka bean, mandarin orange and vanilla mixed with the dark leather to give a sweet and rich vibe. I can see this as a nice date night fragrance, a nice dinner, a broadway show, drinks at a nice lounge, movies, etc. I don't get much of the leather to be honest. Here are my thoughts after directly comparing them over a few days. This is very much a grown-up, finely crafted fragrance that exudes the warmth and enveloping richness redolent of a lot of todays Valentino fragrances (also see Valentino Uomo Noir Absolu for a gorgeous take on sandalwood. Are the new batches worth looking into? Yes, @User123, that is the case. Glad I only bought a sample. Then it evolves into something extremely sweet that gives me a headache. Absolutely beautiful. There's something fresh and maybe 5 min into it you get a big, chunky chocolate bar. It is such a wearable fragrance. Same way can be tested if you spray on your arm. The dry down is unexpectedly sweet but on a bad way, not pleasant for what I was expecting. Works really well in colder weather, wouldnt wear it in summer. I can't even lie.. As much as I love the entire Dior Homme line, and Dior Homme Original EDT is and always will be my favourite scent in the history of mankind, Uomo Intense does it for me more than Dior Homme Intense does. I'm in Sephora right now, testing this scent. It's weird because the 2019 sample I tried was awful to me! Apart from the performance you mentioned, do you notice that it smells different? i have the newest batch with spikes and today tested it, 3 sprays.. my friend couldn't detect this scent ..3 hours affter aplication he smelled it once, i think its very bad performance now, ill give it another try. Definitely not for casual wear or school/office. My batch is from 2016, and is an incredible Powdery Leathery Vanilla. I completely agree with the reviewer below me. Beautiful combination of iris, leather, vanilla, and tonka. While I love this scent it doesn't make sense buying it when I can get longer performance elsewhere. Very gentlemanly and elegant. A Blind buy for sure!!! This is the replacement for the discontinued Door Homme Parfum. When it arrived I was so happy to see it was a batch from February 2016 I bought from Fragrancenet! One of the best, and Ill always have a bottle of this. L'Oreal sure butchered this one. However, the notes listed are not the same anymore. To bad they are discontinuing it, why Valentino?!!! I'd say 2 hours max before it becomes a very linear skin scent. If I were to recommend 1 winter scent for someone that isnt going to get multiple frags this would be it. The salesperson let me sample the newer formula and I purchased that old version (Puig) right away. I could imagine an adult 21-35 wearing this, really playful and party-like. The opening imho should be a little more citrusy but its still good. It doesn't smell the same. On my skin, the clary sage and iris form an indescribably attractive accord that is entirely unique. one of my favorites, amazing iris opening. @ Parfumadict. My nose was not trained to handle Leather/iris scents, but I was very into vanilla still am! Its a really nice smell. I have been stopped more times wearing this than anything else. The iris is prominent and powdery, very DH and DHI similar, the tonka is there but to me gets mixed with the vanilla and the two become rather indistinguishable I cannot detect the citrus or clary sage in this at all, so that doesn't seem to come through. Perhaps it's this association that keeps me from viewing it as a scent to be worn on someone as a fragrance. The dior seems a little richer and better blended, the notes jive better on my skin. I was already running low on the late 2019 batch I bought, and it was a great deal also. Cuz I like oranges to eat, but to smell like one is a different story. I think you can rock this fall to early spring (cool days only). I like the Dior Homme line and was looking at this as an alternative. I am so glad that I did. But here in Europe the nederlands it is still in stores. A more generic Dior Homme intense. It is masculine. It smells like you mixed DHI with DHP. Just wow. Creamy, smooth, leathery, and sophisticated. Ladies around me love it even more and they all said the word "Classy" when they smelled it. So far while wearing Uomo Intense for the first time, I have received 3 compliments however, I did have to overspray to the max because the longevity is really poor with this one. Uncommonly brilliant. I just got this fragrance and boy am I glad. I've tried a few iris forward fragrances such as DHI, Prada l'Homme, PdM Galloway but all of them had something that didn't convince me. It's versatile, unisex, warm and comforting. The two are similar enough that I now feel like I can get my DHI fix without worrying about exhausting my current bottle. Iris note, does give off the makeup scent explained by others. @AEZAKMI Did you have the Puig and/or the first L'Oral version to compare the scent itself? I confirm what @rnc wrote. I had a sample laying around and decided to spray it on my hand, this thing is beast mode, I sprayed ONE little spray on the back of my palm and I can smell it as I'm sitting here typing this review. Prada L'homme smells better but way weaker in terms of strength. If you like/love iris this is your jam! Only first minute when you spray it you can smell similarities, and thats it! But the mid and dry down are easy going and solid. I really wanted to like this one but I never could. Maybe one of the best male perfumes ever created. Gorgeous composition. I adore it, but DHI simply does not perform on my skin. This scent is magnificent. The opening is bold, masculine, mature, elegant, projecting, and very pleasant. 9.4/10. I think people give the impression they are more similar to dhi than they actually are, they are their own creations. On paper strip I think the Puig one is heavier on the vanilla and leather, while in the first reformulation the citrus notes and the iris play along longer. Literally in the middle of writing this my grocery delivery arrived. Definitely perfect for spring and fall- could be cloying in summer however depending on where you live this could be a good signature fragrance. Once Valentino Uomo Intense EDP has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a moderate projection, leather, sweet tonka, vanilla, and powdery iris fragrance with spicy accords. It was definitely worth buying this. This is a nice classy scent. Maybe Dior was at one time, but thats no longer the case. I have no idea whether it is discontinued or not. I first sampled this fragrance back in 2018. Not a single note that jumps too much in front of the other notes. Review is for a a sample of the new retail bottle, with studs on the neck. Performance is meaningless unless you like the fragrance and I'm not a fan of this sweet mess. I kept thinking what is that awesome smell? Very classy Iris leathery fragrance for colder weather. Luxurious and alluring! I'm impressed. I Just got this wonderful perfume today..and I wish I could live inside the bottle. I wore DHI yesterday and this smells different. So elegant and playful. The iris makes the fragrance mild powdery. Maybe the Puig is a bit darker at first, but after a while they both get that vanilla base. This is has less of that classically masculine, piercing, 'cologne' vibe than Dior Homme Intense, to my nose. Reformulated? Luxurious without being obnoxious. Wanted something Valentino and went with this over the edt which I tried today at a drugstore. I am gonna surrender myself and substitute for this one! Not sure why, but get something similar to Iceberg Man with this one. There is some pleasantness hiding in there now. Valentino Uomo Intense is really a lovely fragrance. After wearing it a couple of times it really grew on me and now its one of my favourite scents. I am I love with this scent. The mildest of 'leather'. Still I feel like this DNA has been these days been used a lot in other fragrances so the uniqueness is not there, but that does not mean that it is not worth buying or having. Haven't tried the second reformulation yet (spiked cap). I love the iris opening- its the perfect amount of earthy waxiness for me without becoming too powdery or dirty. If you spray it more it will stick around. They are just perhaps in the same genre of fragrances with some notes in common. Valentino Uomo Intense is a great fragrance without a doubt, especially in the dry down. As it starts to be almost impossible to get 2011 Dior Homme Intense these days and I do not really enjoy reformulated 2020 version, I picked up a bottle of Valentino Uomo Intense to find out what it's all about. Maybe both. I have the original version of this before it was bought out. A great price, great scent, this should do nicely in sales to replace the utterly stupid decision of Dior to discontinue it's Dior Homme Parfum. 10/10 masterpiece from Valentino. The sweet scent wave was tolerable in its initial stages with one million and versace eros but now everything is being sweetened far too much and for no other reason than to appeal to the masses, which is fucking disappointing. The only problem I see with this is that I live in Miami.this is not going to be something that I can wear often. But, and this isn't big deal, but I think they removed the cacao that I remember. You still get that lipstick quality from the iris, but it's balanced well with the dark leather and mandarin notes. It dries down to a sweet vanilla leather, without becoming too animalic. The heavier the sprays, the heavier the projection. Given you bought it recently. I finally have some mild appreciation for this. One of the few fragrances which I immediately had to purchase after sampling it! I liked and purchased intense over the original because I didn't like the myrtle in the blend. Because of that is it hard to find out of europ. The iris and tonka bean make the drydown really sweet but dont let you smell like a cake. Looking at the notes I thought Id love this and dont get me wrong I do like it however it isnt a standout for me personally. as soon as the first spray titillates your skin. The projection and scent bubble is also subtle but I'd rather that than having poor longevity also. Creamy iris and sweet cacao. . Just fantastic. I have Valentino Donna and I love how the two compliment one another and would be a great gift or purchase for a couple to wear together. The tonka bean and vanilla are the sweetening notes, noticeable but not as strong as the leather, they contribute with their sweetness and a bit of a gourmand delectable touch. I will never EVER get tired of this fragrance. Very silky, very attractive, very Valentino. VUI though is the one I consistently like and it is in my most liked fragrances. But I enjoy the VUI a little bit better! I like it. But not in any inelegant or clumsy way. I really like it- it smells very well put together and smooth, but I can't shake off that it smells identical to the old school Dr.Pepper chapsticks. Well worth its money. I don't get the Dior Homme Intense comparison at all. This is a statement maker for sure. On my skin it comes like a very strong iris with leather blast and some sweet notes.Personally this one causes me a headache.Very heavy.I cant stand it despite my efforts.. A rich, thick, creamy and layered affair, the iris here is surrounded by big and beautiful helpings of tonka, vanilla and leather. The iris in VUI is dialed down significantly compared to Dior Homme. These are a little bit more accessible with the sweeter notes, this has a note that's reminiscent of a mocha or some other type of sweet coffee. My first warm/sweet fragrance. It's rather classy and I could easily see women pulling this off as well. A bit underwhelmed with this to be honest. I detect some tonka but vanilla and somehow cinnamon are crazy rn. But damnit man, I need another original bottle. I've tried to find more of the early batches to no avail. On skin, I don't notice much difference between the Puig version and the first reformulation (L'Oral). Lasts very long and has good sillage. I do understand the comparisons to Dior Homme, but this hardly a Dior Homme clone. Top - Middle - Drydown, it's the same scent. It would be a shame if they do that. And i was testing La vie est belle EDP, it smelled very familiar, then it struck me that VUI smells very similar. @newbie-in-frag(ame): if your bottle has studs on the neck, it is the latest version = 2nd reformulation, Uomo Intense > Dior Homme Intense > Prada LHomme Parfum > Gentlemen. How can you be sure, you may ask ? With further exploration you start to get the differences. I love this scent a lot and even if the projection could be better, it is really a great scent. Its a better version of Dior Homme Intense for sure. Now I get some vanilla; it's not overly sweet, though. I bought because it is discontinued and very hard to find, i've never tested it before, i only have tested the original edt that i didn't liked it at all. This is all about the iris and leather combination, with a slight breeziness brought in from the vanilla and some powdery tonka bean. Its def insanely close to dior Homme intense. After several wearings,i can tell this is a good fragrance. I've tried or owned all of the best designer iris fragrances (Dior, Prada, Valentino, Givenchy etc) i have to say that this is to me just in the middle. I own both, and theres no reason not to own both. Instead of pear this has a bit of mandarin, and sage instead of lavender. within 4 hours it's gone, leaving me wanting more. and thats a fact. This fragrance screams elegance. This is just a beast! I get powder and oranges primarily from this. Uomo Intense definitely smells upscale, sophisticated, cosy and leans unisex to me. You should try it before blind buying. So after seeing how incredibly well received the Intense version was, I decided to blind buy a 50ml bottle of it! There is exactly the same juice like this, and it is from the house of armaf. While I do think that it's a fantastic fragrance, I don't think it's quite as a high a quality fragrance as, say, Dior Homme Original. Iris also takes a back seat, leather vanishes. I like it. So, someone I know traveled to the Netherlands and purchased 100ml of this juice for yours truly. My top 3 fragrance. Either way, a phenomenal sexy scent non less! It opens with the orange and the clary sage but they doesn't stick too logne, the iris here is more buttery and no so powdery, the tonka is prominent and gives this vanilic feeling and the leather is very smooth and not so prominent. On the other hand, DHI (i have 2015 batch) lasts and projects much longer. More masculine and potent than DHI. I sprayed twice; once on each arm to test it. VU is sublime, more delicate and delicious. Where Dior Homme is understated, this is bold and up-front about what it is, take it or leave it. Today was cold. The cold masks that big time! Ive been searching for Dior Homme Intense to sample (I love iris) bit Ive had a hard time finding it. A shame that Valentino doesnt performs any better. Original DH and VU are very similar, but it is not redundant to own both DHI and VUI as their smells are different enough. Fragrantica Inc, United States. Anyway 2.5 years later, after hearing how "sexy" this fragrance was by YT reviewers(S/O to Buck of Big Beard Business for the VUI fragrance introduction), I Pulled the plug and searched for a full bottle. Not bad but since DHI is still on the market there is no reason whatsoever to choose this one. Hi y'all. So they added nutmeg and juniper berry and took away the tonka bean and the leather. Dropped a review of this on my Youtube "Rotten Rebel" and all I can say is that this is one fragrance that I am insanely addicted to and one that truly pulls in a lot of compliments of the sexy kind. I still see this listed on Valentino's US website, so I don't know where the hype about discontinuation comes from. Really good fall/winter fragrance right here and for sure I do understand that similarity to the Dior Homme line but I wouldn't say they're exactly the same but rather it seems that it's inspired by the Dior Homme line. I get the iris and its well done. Now, watch as prices for this gem go sky high!!! I loved Gentleman Givenchy EDP so really what did I expect with this one? I twice wore new batch from nordstrom and I didn't notice massive differences ( although I'm no expert on this fragrance) to my nose. So they are both not discontinued. Not a single bit of a thing! The longevity is about 7 hours with 4 good hours of projection. Leather, iris, vanilla, and then dries down to be soft and powdery, with that sweetness in the background. The smell reminds me of a holiday section at a grocery store--with lots of spices and woods filling the air. Everyone should give this a try. Valentino Uomo, truly a glorious masterpiece. Love this fragrance. Had to wash it down after that so I can't speak about performance or the smell after a few hours. A shame its getting discontinued buy while you can its a cheap monster of a fragrance. Hello everyone, I decided to leave a review about this composition right now, they say, after they began to produce the aroma in France, it changed, it seemed, it lost its durability, and so on, listen, I have 3 bottles of different years of production 2016 2017 2020 and there is no difference between them, they are absolutely the same in resistance to the train and density. Leather, iris, tonka and resemblance to Dior Homme - it is announced as an olfactory heaven. There's an aromatic opening which is gone in mere seconds, and then the buttery iris takes over. VUI is no exception. Do any of you even know what lipstick smells like or are the whiners just regurgitating lines they heard Gent Scents or Jeremy say? For my May, 2020 bottle, the FIL code # is B234952/1. Love at first sniff! One of the best perfume I ever had. A bit deeper than the original with a bit more iris, i feel this one is strictly winter wear and not as adaptable as vu, i love both but the opening on the original is sublime. To me this is mainly a waxy orange smell with lots of iris. They were puzzled as to why I was so drawn to that specific box. This is a rougher, spicier (herbal), aggressive version of what would normally be a soft and sweet fragrance. Im not usually the biggest leather fan, but the way this leather blends seamlessly with the vanilla, and iris makes it smooth as silk. 1h projection and gone after 4 hours on me. Absolutely adore the scent, but I just can't seem to find a suitable time to wear it. While the primary notes are the sameiris, powdery vanilla, a bit of suede-like leatherthe main differentiators to my nose are that VUI is backed by that mandarin orange and DHI with the lavender. The best iris bomb in my opinion. A bit similar to the Dior Homme line but ultimately a bit more wearable than DHI and DHP. Sweet opening. I like violets for women and myself. ok first off I could do with the communities help. I can definitely tell this fragrance will have some silage and longevity. Valentino Uomo Intense has better smell to me personally. Valentino Uomo Intense is sold out everywhere for a reason. Iris, Vanilla, Leather, done right. Rumors say it is discontinued. Very different and unique. However, after some time I found the vanilla in here to be too sweet. I totally get the comparisons to DHI, however, I am not that familiar with DHI to compare the two side by side, so all I can say is that the similarities are definitely present. im sure you'll like it. Very appropriate if you are dressed up whether be a date or a formal ocasion, even for work in cool days. Starts with a nice sage and slightly floral before settling into the most awesome leather and iris smell. But it's quite similar to Dior Homme intense, Both of them are powdery and soft. ), Simply, A killer. I still think regular Uomo leans more masculine, but Intense has a much more masculine kick, which I love as a man. I have two bottles 2016 and 2018 they smell the same. Spend ur money on a Dior HI or Roi d'Orient. Has anyone tried the new style bottle (2021 release)?? ARMAF ODYSSEY (black packaging).same performance, long lasting, affordable price.check it reviews from youtube coz it is new release from armaf and it is not listed here in fragrantica yet. Very well blended. Damn this is straight fire, iris and Tonka is the star here, I see what all the hype is about, very strong sillage in the opening, sweet and manly dont get the unisex vibe, 8 hrs longevity good projection within first 2 hrs then sits close but still detectable, cool summer nights fall winter and spring, white tee or suit dont matter, 9/10. To me, a more masculine rendition of DHI. It's a pleasant powdery vanilla. (edit: I dont fully understand understand the comparisons with DHI which I love. If youre expecting a high quality and/or well composed fall/winter iris-based fragrance similar to DHI/DHP. The opening is okay, I wish they paired something else with the clary sage other than the orange. I love Dior Homme and there are striking similarities but this is a differant beast- Projection and longevity is beast , if you can wear it without feeling like you've OD'ed on a tin of biscuits, you'll be fine. Its classy and sexy. It is a compliment getter. IMHO This is a Dior Homme for younger people, its alot smoother, gets more compliments.
